What is the Certified Six Sigma Green Belt credential?

It is a credential designed by the American Society for Quality for those team members who will actually implement the projects identified as improvement opportunities. The Green Belt holders have two primary tasks:

• To help successfully deploy Six Sigma techniques
• To lead small-scale improvement projects within their respective areas.

Here are just a few of the things you will discover in your green belt training:

• Defining the Project
• Measurement of Performance
• Analysis
• Improvement of Performance
• Control
• Documentation and Presentation

During the Six Sigma Green Belt Training you will learn how to use many of the Six Sigma problem-solving methods and statistical tools to contribute to the success of your organization. Such methods of business process improvements include :

• Communicating a business strategy across the organization
• Integrating with Lean Manufacturing, TOC, & other improvement methods
• Applying the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) improvement process
• Selecting successful Six Sigma projects and project teams
• Planning and executing projects
• Significantly increasing profitability through Six Sigma projects
• Selecting the right statistical tools
• Actively participating in a Six Sigma team
